The new year always brings airs of change, the beginning of new stages, and the need to make decisions that for certain circumstances of life we have postponed for a while.

A good builder can explain the list of situations that may arise on your job, but decisions about situations are not usually the ones that cause delays.
Instead, most problems are related to decisions like paint color, trim, tiles, and cabinet selection. These may seem like little things, but when the cabinet is late, the workers’ date needs to be changed and this is how it begins.
2. Keep your mind the same (as much as you can): While it’s inevitable that you will change your mind about something on your project, know this: every time you change your mind, a change order will occur. Although the change may seem minor, there are always additional costs, even if it’s just the time spent discussing the change.
